Cylinder Liners
• Complete disassembly and cleaning of the cylinder liners;
• Dimensional inspection and verification of operating tolerances;
• Visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect any defects or cracks;
• Inspection of wear on the running surfaces;
• Measurement of cylinder liner ovality and taper;
• Surface roughness and honing angle inspection;
• Honing in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications;
• Final inspection of component clearances and functional dimensions.
Pistons
• Complete disassembly and cleaning of the pistons;
• Dimensional inspection and verification of operating tolerances;
• Visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) to detect any defects or cracks;
• Measurement and inspection of piston ring grooves and seats;
• Rebuilding or machining of piston ring grooves and seats by welding or precision machining;
• Replacement of piston rings, piston pins and worn components;
• Final inspection of component clearances and functional dimensions.
